When planning your entree, think of the vegetables as the main attraction and the protein as the side show. I know this is opposite of how we've been raised, but give it a try! The veggies should at least fill up more of the plate than your protein.
Also, think of color. The richer and more varied the color, the healthier. It looks more appetizing, too!
Incorporate more fish into your meals. Fish protects the heart, boosts memory, combats cancer, and supports the immune system. Beware of where the fish comes from, though. Choose wild or fish from companies that use sustainable fishing practices. When using chicken, beef or pork, buy organic whenever possible.
